Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Pineapple pizza exists since 1962, and it's still a hot topic until now. Well, it looks interesting to eat, but it would not taste good. Pineapple pizza is originally called "Hawaiian", but the truth is it's not from Hawaii nor the United States. But where is it from? Pineapple pizza is created in a small restaurant in Canada. It's just a normal pizza, with a sweet and healthy pineapple as an additional topping. But, it doesn't make the pizza much healthier. Normal pizza has 266 calories, and when we add pineapple, the pizza will have 244 calories. That doesn't make a big change. Italians got offended by this, because they respect their food a lot.
